When It’s Too Hot to Cook, Why Add More Heat?
We’re nowhere near summer yet, but it’s only a matter of time before it’s hotter than Hades in your world.
If you’ve got it, air conditioning will certainly help.
But, so will Mad Dog hot sauce.
For certain it will. No, it’s not one of those things where you make a smoker quit by forcing him to smoke all the cigarettes he can until he vomits. No, there’s something deeper at work here… and it’s called capsaicin.
Capsaicin is the powerful stuff found inside chili peppers that give them their heat. (In case you’re wondering, it’s mostly found in the white pithy parts of the fruit of milder chilies. When you’re talking about super hot varieties like ghost peppers or reapers, you’ll find capsaicin well distributed throughout the flesh.)
When it comes into contact with the mucus membranes under your skin, it triggers the same pain receptors that actual fire does. And, simultaneously, it blocks the production of certain pain enzymes, so you just don’t feel all the pain your brain thinks you should be feeling.
A bit wild, sure. But, it is pure science.
We’re not suggesting you bathe in bottles of hot sauce so you don’t feel the heat outside. But, if you’re hoping to avoid the pain that comes with the heat of summer, you may as well swallow some Mad Dog hot sauces. It’s a hell of a lot more pleasant than simply sweating through the sunshine.
Not only that, but the rush of endorphins that comes with capsaicin, will keep you happy and motivated to get you through the day. There’s no way you’ll get that with air conditioning. You also won’t get that from swigging on a bottle of beer, which is another way to keep summer heat at bay. However, beer and hot sauce do pair well, at least Mad Dog hot sauces and beer are best of friends. (Just try these ribs, brats or fish if you need proof.)
Don’t wait for summer; stock up now. Then you can cook your way through summer without any struggle?
Check out some of our recipes… or skip to the good stuff and order a bottle of mad Dog hot sauce now. Remember, it’s not for bathing in, but you can soak in plenty of heat from just a drop of our super hot sauces.
