You could get it from a take-out restaurant, but once you taste this pork fried rice, you’ll need to keep all the ingredients on hand at all times. This recipe serves about four as main dish, though you could use it as a base for a crowd and top it with your favorite Asian-inspired dish. And, feel free to substitute your Mad Dog 357 Pure Ghost Hot Sauce. It’s got a hell of a kick and an addictive one at that.
2 each Eggs
2 tablespoon Sesame oil
1 pound Pork chops, thin-cut and sliced into strips
1 each Carrot, diced
½ each Onion, diced
4 each Green onions, sliced
3 cups Rice, cooked
1 teaspoon Boomslang Ghost Pepper Hot Sauce (or more if you like it HOT!)
½ cup Teriyaki glaze
1 pinch Black pepper
1 cup Peas (frozen is fine)
In a large pan, scramble the eggs, then set aside. Add half the oil to the pan over a high heat. Add the pork and cook for about 3-5 minutes, until almost cooked through. Add the carrots, onion, and half the green onions, cook for an additional 2-4 minutes, then remove from pan and set aside.
Add the remaining sesame oil and allow it to come up to heat. Add the rice, string constantly to mix the rice into the oil. Once rice is heated and browning, add the meat, veggies, and egg back to the pan and toss in the Boomslang Ghost Pepper Hot Sauce, teriyaki glaze, black pepper, peas and remaining green onions. Mix well and cook for about 2 minutes, or until everything is well blended and heated through. Enjoy.
